Thursday At Sea

The weather was a little questionable so we decided to forgo the pool and take some classes and see the characters. Leah and I found a quiet deck to read on while we waited for our classes to start.

We learned napkin folding, towel folding and had Tea with Alice and the Mad Hatter. At the tea party we learned about manners and how to drink tea with the best of them. At napkin folding I won a gold medal for folding Palo’s jacket.

Leah and I attended the Princess gathering and had our pictures taken with the princesses.

Anna declared, "I like boys" as we finished our dinner and prodeeded to show that affection to the closest boys around!

That night was the Disney Dreams show, the effects are wonderful.

Castaway Cay

Disney has their own island called Castaway Cay. The last day of the cruise is spent on the island. It is a beautiful place and a great way to end the cruise.

The weather was phenomenal and we enjoyed our day at the beach swimming and playing in the sand.

Leah found a hermit crab that the girls (and Michael) enjoyed playing with.

JD, Leah, Michael and Daniel all went snorkeling and had a great time looking at all the fish.

That night was our last dinner. We talked about how much fun we had, and how much we tortured each other. Michael proclaimed that his jaw hurt from all of the eating and that he just could not eat any more.

Downtown Disney

We all had breakfast together and said our last good-byes. Jessi told me that I could come visit her in California and I could babysit her while her parents went out.

After debarkation we went to Downtown Disney to pass the hours until we flew home to Colorado. It was raining off and on all day. The challenging part was being back on solid ground. I constantly felt as if the world were rocking and if I stood still in any one place for more than a minute I was sure that I would pass out. It’s a very strange feeling.

Leah and Mom put together the greatest collection of Mr. Potato Head ever seen. They gathered the parts and pieces for Tinkerbell, Cinderella, Maleficent, and many more.

We also stopped at Ghiradelli for ice cream.

Unfortunately our plane was delayed. So we had a long wait in the airport. Followed by a long plane ride (I had a very chatty neighbor), a long wait for the shuttle and a long drive home. We made it home about 12:30am.
